How do I fix Office problems?
Activation or unlicensed product
If you don’t connect the installed Office 365 applications to Microsoft servers for more than 30 days in a row, these applications are deactivated. Once a connection is established to Microsoft licensing servers, the license is renewed. By applying these troubleshooting steps, you can effectively handle many common issues in Microsoft Office applications.
On a PC, simply exit out of all open programs and restart the entire machine. Check to see if multiple copies of Office are installed on your system. To do this, navigate to Control Panel and click on "Programs and Features".

Help with Office product keys
Deactivation doesn't remove Office from the computer, but you can't use Office on that computer until you activate it. See Deactivate Office 365 if you see a "limit reached" error. Mac install or activation issues
If your computer can't install the full desktop version of Office because your computer doesn't meet the system requirements, you can try using Office Online in your computer's browser.
Good practice to avoid having Office 365 issues with signing in, is to have a recovery email. There is a chance you entered the wrong username or password. Check if CAPSLOCK is turned on, and check the spelling of the password you try to enter. As passwords are sensitive to small changes, you shouldn’t copy your passwords from anywhere (like textfiles, skype’s conversations), instead try to enter it manually.

You forgot your password
Uninstall old versions of Microsoft Office from your computer and try to activate Microsoft Office 365 again. Then try to activate the installed Office 365 suite again on your computer. You may need to remove old Microsoft Office licenses from your computer and install a new one. If the above steps have not resolved your issue, open Outlook in Safe Mode to see if the issue is resolved. Type Outlook.exe /safe, and click OK. If it is not, you may need to reinstall the Office suite completely.
